After six successful years, MB&F’s Legacy Machine N°1 (LM1) series comes to a close with the release of the “Final Edition.” Together with watchmaking gurus Jean-François Mojon and Kari Voutilainen, the LM1 introduced three world firsts: the suspended “flying” balance wheel; fully independent dual time displays; and the vertical power reserve indicator. The Legacy Machine 1 is deservedly popular watch thanks to its stunning looks and craftsmanship. Cased in red gold, white gold, platinum and titanium, in dials of blue, grey and green MB&F notes that approximately 435 LM1s have been manufactured, which is second in quantity only to the HM3 (interestingly). With eighteen pieces in steel case with brown dial, the LM1 Final Edition will conclude the LM1 series and lock its legacy into the secondary market Congrats — its been an epic run!
What’s next? LM3 maybe? Time will tell…
