This is the Zenith El Primero Chronomaster 1969 “Tribute to The Rolling Stones”, a limited edition of 250 pieces.  The 12-hour chronograph register is overlaid with the famous Rolling Stones red tongue and lip design/logo.

On the case-back (not pictured), is a sapphire crystal engraved with this same tongue inscribed with “The Rolling Stones Edition”.   The watch is 42mm in steel case, with automatic mechanical El Primero Cal 4061 with silicium escapement.

The deal, which is expected to result in several special edition watches, was reportedly architected by new LVMH Watch Group head Jean-Claude Biver (no surprise there!) and Tom Bennett, CEO for Bravado, Universal Music Group’s global music merchandising division.  Stay tuned for more as the ‘14 On Fire’ tour’ rolls on this year…
