Hommage Minute Repeater, double platinum micro-rotors…limited 8 pieces…$ 419,000…
This very special Roger Dubuis Tribute to the Minute Repeater model, limited to 8 exclusive pieces, leads the way in a new line which pays tribute to the brand’s namesake founder. In addition to the minute repeater, the watch features not one but two micro-rotors in platinum, a stunningly beautiful combination.
Roger Dubuis Hommage Minute Repeater
45mm pink gold case, double platinum micro-rotor powered caliber with flying tourbillon and minute repeater
The RD08 calibre uses a double micro-rotor in platinum, with both a minute repeater and a flying tourbillon. Roger Dubuis notes that it “is one of the rare automatic minute repeaters to feature a double micro-rotor in platinum and it is the only one to be stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva.” This is news to me and begs the question, who else has done a double platinum micro rotor?
Positioned just above each micro-rotor is a minute repeater hammer. Beautiful architecture, isn’t it?

As noted above, this is an ultra-exclusive piece for which production will be limited to just eight pieces. Price at $419,000. Truly a special watch.
