Hublot’s Red Devil Special Edition Comes in Rose Gold this year

New for 2009, after a committed season of cooperation and partnership, Hublot and the Red Devils find themselves in China to unveil a new edition of the Big Bang in the colours of the reigning English champions. With a 44.5mm case, 100m water resistance, 45 minute counter at 9 o’clock, the “Red Devil” logo at 3 o’clock, and a new rose gold case fitted on a rubber (or “gummy” as Hublot refers to it) Alligator strap, the series is limited to just 99 pieces.

The Bang 1 makes more sense for this dial, but the RG is stunning, but prefer it with a dial that accompanies RG more. Just my two cents. I really do love the Bang line though…stunning pieces. A little worried about Hublot with the current marketplace now. Brands with a shifting history don’t hold up as well as those with a str8 approach throughout time like Rolex/Omega, etc. I think the Hublot Bangs are among the best timepieces out in the last few years though.

Love the RDB 1. It is simple and an excellent combination IMHO. On another note, JCB is quite the traveler. It seems he is in HK one day and Manchester the next!
