OMEGA Planet Ocean Ladies 600m Arrives

Finally an OMEGA Planet Ocean for ladies. At 37.5mm diameter, this new OMEGA (pictured below) is nicely proportioned for a smaller wrist, but with all the performance attributes watch enthusiasts have come to expect from OMEGA – 600m water resistances, helium escape valve, and an OMEGA-exclusive co-axial movement (automatic Caliber 3313). The watch is also a COSC-certified chronometer.

The only potential drawback for guys who own their own OMEGA Planet Ocean? The next watch on your “to buy” list may very well be this one – I think this watch is sure to be a hit with your significant other!

Quite nice! I see that OMEGA has chosen to unveil the chrono first in the ladies line, rather than the chronometer. In the men’s line the chronometer was introduced first and the chronograph a year later.

Finally a functional watch for us ladies! Looking forward to purchasing one! I’ve always liked the PO Chronographs, but at 42mm, they always presented a problem for my 5.5 inch wrists.. Now there’s one specially made for me!

I second that! My wrists are also 5.5 inches, and I’ve always loved the PO line. However, anything over 38mm is too big for my wrists, so I couldn’t wear any of them. Thankfully Omega has come out with a PO ladies model in 37.5mm. Even better is that all of the functionality I admired in the men’s models have been left intact in the ladie’s PO. Can’t wait to purchase one – I’ll be off to my AD now!
