First Hublot Boutique in United States!

Hublot recently opened its first U.S. boutique, and the honor went to Bal Harbour, Florida (Miami Beach).  Can you believe this is Hublot’s first U.S. boutique?  Seems to me like they were already everywhere ;-) Seriously, though — I would have guessed Las Vegas would have been first, maybe New York.  All in good time, I suppose.  Anway, to kick-start its new and first U.S. boutique, Hublot also unveiled 2 limited edition Bal Harbour “boutique exclusives” for those who want to represent a little bit of Miami pride.  25 pieces in each style.    Price is $20,000-$25,000.

Did You Know? The Origin of “Bal Harbour”

The Village was first called “Bay Harbour,” a name that was soon discarded as not properly defining a community with oceanfront property. A new word was created, taking letters from ‘bay” and “Atlantic” to create “Bal.” Thus Bal Harbour, a new town encompassing bay and ocean, was named. The fledgling government was housed in converted military barracks until the current Village Hall was built in 1956.  Source.
