Bell & Ross BR126 Blackbird

 Bell & Ross BR126 Blackbird

Inspired by Lockheed’s SR-71 Blackbird, the Bell & Ross BR126 Blackbird is a wonderful extension of the Bell & Ross aviation ethos.  This watch is limited to just 500 pieces and is done in a black PVD-finished case (43mm) paired with a vivid orange canvas or textured black rubber strap (both with matching black PVD buckle).  The movement is an automatic mechanical Swiss ETA 2892 (as commonly used by B&R) with Dubois Depraz flyback chronograph module (12, 30 and 60 min sub-counters), AM/PM indication, and a tachy scale.   I saw this great watch hands-on at Baselworld and can still recall in my mind how vivid the orange canvas strap is.  It is a cool watch from any angle.  Price will be just under $7,000.  Enjoy the many pics below!

If you are ever in Washington DC you can see one of the SR-71 Blackbirds at the Air and Space Museum at Dulles Airport — it is indeed an amazing aircraft! @goju1:disqus

    Kyle,

This watch has central chrono seconds and minutes with only 1 sub dial for the elapsed hours. Its a L5100 clone and thats why it is kickass!

Dont see anything SR-71 about this watch. Is that an orange F-86? A joke

this watch just doesn’t agree with me. Imo it does nothing to resemble the plane and the finishing just comes off as tacky to me. The dial is overcluttered, the orange strap makes it look like it belongs to ToyWatch. It’s association with the Blackbird is just the nail in the coffin for me. really comes off as being pretentious and tryhard.
but I’m not a Bell&Ross fan to begin with, so oh well

You are the second person to comment to this effect! You have a good point and in fact were it not for the SR71 pics I included in the post the association between watch and plane seems a stretch. Thanks for commenting.

I would remind you both that a Corvette looks NOTHING like a Corvette!

Really, good point? What does Titus want, wings coming out of the watch? The watch is supposed to resemble the cockpit as all of their aviation watches do. You don’t see that in the picture of the cockpit posted above?

when and where can I get one?
