Baselworld 2012: Breitling Chronomat GMT (44mm – new smaller size)

Breitling presents the Chronomat GMT in a new 44 mm diameter (vs. prior models only available at 47mm case).  In addition to its slightly smaller size, this new version stands out for the rotating bezel which displays a third time zone over 24 hours. The watch is powered by the Breitling 04 calibre – COSC-certified and developed and manufactured entirely by Breitling.  This is a nice line extension down to a smaller size that should broaden the appeal of this particular piece for the many enthusiasts who previously found 47mm to be too big for their wrists.  Below are just a few of the many beautiful variations of this watch that are availab.e

I am seriously considering this new Chronomat 44 GMT – anyone know when it will be available?

    • Perpetuelle

Hi @Puma20502:disqus Yea, this should be a great watch to own.  I don’t know any availability yet, but based on past experience I would guess it will be ready starting in Summer 2012.  You could go to or call an authorized Breitling store/dealer and tell them you are interested in the watch — they should be able to give you a date.
      Happy watch buying!

        Hi Kyle,

Okay so I ordered this watch 4 weeks ago, suppose to come in this week or next.  Bought the Chronomat 44 GMT in Blue with both the stainless bracelet and the rubber strap.  I wish I had it now, as I am traveling internationally now.
