Audemars Piguet Millenary Minute Repeater with AP Escapement

Joining the titanium Ref 26371 in AP’s Millenary Minute Repeater lineup is this rose gold beauty.  It is presented in a rose gold case measuring 47mm x 15.79mm, with enamel off-centered hour/minute dial, small seconds sub-dial and minute repeater slide on the case at 9 o’clock. This watch has AP’s new hand-wound manufacture Caliber 2928 with AP escapement and double balance-spring; the 26371Ti (announced 2011 SIHH) has a caliber 2910.

On the dial side, you can also see a ‘blued’ gong of the minute repeater which matches the color of hour, minute and small seconds hands and looks just superb.  The main dial is enamel with black Romans and rail track; it is “cut into” by the smaller subsidiary dial for the small seconds as well as the escapement.
