When it comes to resale value and collect-ability, having more than just your watch is absolutely critical.  By this I mean that you should save every item, every tool, every accessory and every scrap of paper associated with your watch.  This includes the watch box. When it comes to watch boxes, what usually matters is having the nice wooden presentation box that comes with a high end watch.  But not for Panerai!  For the Paneristi, having the specially marked outer box (made of cardboard) as well as the inner boxes (plural) is important if you want to maximize the value of your watch.

And on this note, if you’ve ever wanted to know what a Panerai Box looks like and what’s in it, check out this short and helpful video which I saw posted over at http://amitdevhanda.wordpress.com/2013/08/14/panerai-box/.  Anyone interested in buying a Panerai, take note!
