For the upcoming Only Watch 2013 charity auction, Richard Mille is donating the Yohan Blake Tourbillon Prototype which Yohan Blake wore at the 2012 London Olympic Games where he won three medals. Perpetuelle was the first to identify the vividly colored watch on Yohan’s wrist as being a Richard Mille, and we provided extensive coverage of this phenomenal timepiece as it made its way through the Olympic games. Truly a special piece that should fetch a fine sum for the charity event.

This prototype created an enormous amount of media attention and even a bit of controversy. It is a unique piece based upon the RM 038 but adapted to Yohan Blake’s specifications. It experienced the joy of the podium and shared the spotlight with the gold and silver medals won by Yohan, as well as a few blazes down the track on Yohan’s wrist. You can see live pics of this watch from the London Olympic Games here, here and here.
This watch features the Jamaican flag colors of green and yellow highlighting the white case, along with a yellow Velcro® strap.
