OK here’s the deal – you must choose one or the other. No “I’d rather have this alternative or that alternative.” There are two choices at hand here.
So….which one would you choose? Why?
The 2010 Leica M7 Hermès Edition Camera
Price: about $13,000
Limited Edition of 200

Nod to Luxury Insider and many others for the camera scoop.
The 2010 Hermès Clipper Chronograph Titanium Watch
Price: between $5,000 and $10,000

Me? I’d take the watch. Why? No real reason except that I’m a watch guy!

Wow, tough call, I love both!
I’m a watch guy, but something about this doesn’t look quite right … the camera on the other hand is a WOW.
I am not into the Hermes watches, so the Leica would get my vote.
I have to second that James, Hermes watches, well, I did not even know they made them. Leica, on the other hand makes some of the best cameras in the world, their photo quality is awesome. That said, the M9 is much more appealing than the M7 shown above, so I would have to buy an M9 instead (M9’s are full frame and cost around $7K).
10 grand for a (likely) unmodified ETA 7750? no way, Id have the camera, keep it until they’re sold out, then chuck it on eBay, THEN get a PROPER watch
