Do you remember the 29-piece limited edition Oktopus Moonphase dive watch by Linde Werdelin? Debuting in 2010, the Oktopus Moonphase diver watch featured a titanium case, rose gold bezel, helium escape value, 888 meters water resistance, and — most curiously — a photo-realistic moonphase indicator created by renowned watchmaker Svend Andersen.
I thought you might appreciate this live photo of the moonphase — even though it is a bit fuzzy, you can see how cool that moonphase indicator is at night. Original price on this watch was north of $21,000, but I believe it is sold out (and probably very hard to find in the secondary market).
A moonphase on a dive watch, you say? Yea, you can read all about it here.
